Throughout May 2023, I pledged to donate 50% of every Pixie and the Bees book sale to support mental heath services for youth at Peterborough Youth Services (PYS)

My goal was to match my donation to CMHA last year – $530. I knew it was going to be a challenge but I was up for it. PYS had made a life-saving difference in my family’s life and giving back to them kept me going.

I reached my goal near the end of the month and then surpassed it. The final donation was $670.

I have so many people to thank for this success. Local media including: KawarthaNOW, Peterborough Examiner, CBC Ontario Morning. Local businesses including: Watson & Lou and Cheek. And of course every single person who purchased my book, shared my story and sent me words of support and encouragement along the way.

We did it, all of us.

much love & gratitude,
Erica
