Do you want to write but can’t seem to find the time?
I get it. Life is overwhelmingly busy. There are hundreds of thoughts and tasks that demand our priority at any given time. Besides, writing is scary right? And lonely?
What if you made a commitment to show up every week and write for 20 minutes? And what if you weren’t alone but had other people around who are working on their own writing projects?Â
Write Club Stories: Safety in Numbers is an opportunity to commit to your writing. It’s a chance to show up and write with others, on your own project.
How it works
Once you sign up you will receive a zoom link which allows you into a group writing session for the entire month. With a membership you have access to all sessions each month (from the moment that you register). Come to all of them, or just a few!Â
There are four writing sessions available every week.Â
- Mondays 7am EST
- Wednesdays 8pm EST
- Fridays 7am ESTÂ
- Sundays 12:30 EST
Each session is approximately 30 minutes including:
- quick introduction (your name, where you are joining us from and what you are working on
- a brief guided meditation
- 20 minutes of quiet, individual writing
- Collective sharing of one line
You can write anything you want. Seriously. You can work on editing your novel, writing a blog post, drafting a business plan or writing poetry. All writing is welcome.
At the end of the month, you will receive a document containing all lines collected during the month. These lines can then be used for future writing prompts and inspiration!
Fee Structure
When we make a financial investment, we are more likely to follow through with our commitment. (plus it covers my admin & zoom fees) Pay what you can between $25-$45/month
Notes
There is a limit of 20 participants/month. Registration begins on the 20th of the month before. (Example: registration for October's Safety in Numbers Group opens on September 20th). Registration will continue until maximum capacity is reached or the next month opens up.

A worthwhile investment. That ½ hour a week (or more if you want) keeps reminding me that if I want to write, I have to actually spend some time writing. Plus it gives me a bit of social contact with other people with similar interests.
